Musicianship is focused on the development of the core musical skills that support your journey as a musician. These include listening, singing, creating, and performing. Classes can include a range of activities, such as an introduction to music vocabulary and symbols, ear training, rhythm skills, note-reading, musical form and structure, composition, creativity and improvisation, and music appreciation.
Lessons are customised to suit each student and their particular interests. For younger musicians, classes can also include a focus on fine and gross motor skills, coordination of hands, numbers and counting, note names, and keyboard familiarity.
