Think back on the last concert you went to, and you’ll likely only remember a few moments—probably something from the middle and the very end— in detail due to a cognitive bias called the peak-end rule. But the act of listening to music is such a profound in-the-moment sensory and emotional experience so does it matter how you remember it?
